Medical Student International (MSI) is a magazine made by medical students for medical students and published biannually in print and online. Each issue reflects the theme of the current IFMSA General Assembly (one is in March and one is in August).

The theme of MSI 22 is "Health and the City"
What do we, the Editorial Board, expect? We would like you to write informative, critical, provocative, controversial, motivating, reflective etc. articles according to the theme "Health and the City"! Think about what you know and would like to share with the rest of the world, think about what you and others would like to know. Think about the article type and start writing! Your article will be reviewed by the MSI Editorial Board and we hope that in the end we will be able to publish all your articles!

How and Where to send
Write the text with standard settings, Arial preferred. Only highlight headlines. If you have pictures, don't include it in the document – send it extra!
Save your article as Microsoft Word document (doc), Formatted Text (txt) or OpenOffice.org document (odt).
Send the file and the pictures to publications@ ifmsa.org, June 18th 2010, 22:59 UTC latest.

Special note from the editorial board
As MSI publishes and represents the opinion of medical students worldwide, controversial opinions are inevitable! This is also to be considered for the following topics/inspirations . If anyone takes them as offensive, I want to apologise in advance!
Any statement made should be at least supported by a quote on which it is based upon or clearly stated that it is your personal belief! Provide your articles with all references – no article will be published without references!
